Every event and announcement get identified as one of three categories. Remember the classification does not represent value of the event or ministry but is determined primarily by the percentage of our congregation impacted as well as how to best help people take their next step in discipleship. A general rule of thumb is, if it impacts 80% of our congregation or is a major connection for new-comers it will be a high emphasis event.
This also does not mean that if an event is not considered a high emphasis event that it will not be promoted. We have designated what we feel to be appropriate channels and mediums for High, Medium, and Light emphasis. We want to help make each event a success and have provided multiple opportunities to make sure each event receives promotional support.
